Welcome to my page!

I am excited to get this blog moving along finally! With so much going on with my daughter and my 9 to 5 job, I just didn't get around to wrapping up the new blog. So stopped making excuses and made the time! Here we are kicking off the summer and I wanted to do it right...

The blog is where I will talk more in-depth about all things career-related, and maybe some life lessons as well. But I wanted to give more of an "inside look" at the details, knowledge and experiences that may come into play along the journey within your career, dealing with it during, after and through change.

I will give advice, tips and outright rules to help you find where you want to find yourself in your career. And well let's face it, sometimes your life IS your career. But there is a balance and I will talk about that too.

So a little about myself...

I am a working professional. Have worked in different industries and for the last five years I have focused on Human Resources. I went to Allan Hancock Community College graduating with the idea of wanting to help people and being tied into business. So when I transferred to California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo choosing to major in Sociology with the desire to work in the Human Resources field, I found the tie between the two. I have thought about others careers as well, and I will get into how I chose my career, different roads I could have taken and how I really got to where I am today piece by piece through my posts on Instagram (@premierresumes) and on here - can't give it all away in one sitting right.

Needless to say though I have a passion for people, writing and business.

I am available to help with resumes, cover letters or the whole package, notary services (if you are in the area) and career coaching as well.

Aside from my work, I am a mom to a beautiful little girl (who won't stop getting older) and is soon to be nine.

She is amazing!

We are usually signing her up for the next sport to try. I am keen on her trying new things. The next things on our list are karate and dance, and maybe tennis. And obviously she is my world!

I am also the oldest in my big blended family, so I have always kind of played a 'mama bear' role. And me well, I love to be outside with the sand between my toes or getting them done in the salon. I have grown to love all the girly things most think of, as I haven't always been that way. I enjoy long intellectual conversations where hours can go by and you don't even notice, visiting new places and well... food. I mean food is life. All things are planned around it aren't they? Well at least I plan my trips around food. Haha, and I am on a new kick with minimalism. I have gotten rid of so much and let me tell you... #lifechanger (not to the extreme but seriously cleansing! But I could never get rid of all my coffee cups or purses lol).
